Upsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter will be hosting Mission Restoration: Uplifting, Empowering and Reviving Our Community on Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at Randallstown Community Center (3505 Resource Drive, Randallstown) from 10am - 2pm. Adopt A Family
As part of our commitment to the economic growth of the Black family, UEO has adopted a family in the Baltimore County area with the help of the Baltimore County Department of Social Services. The goal of this initiative is to influence family stability, build family self sufficiency, and improve their economic and social growth.  UEO achieves these goals through mentoring, introducing the family to cultural activities and providing resources to the family.

Adopt A Highway
UEO has adopted a one mile stretch of Liberty Road, between the intersections of Live Oak and Offutt Roads, in partnership with the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA).  UEO is responsible for picking up litter along this stretch of roadway four times a year as part of Maryland SHA Stop Waste And Trash (SWAT) campaign.

Genesis Eldercare
Four times a year, the members of UEO plan recreational activities for the residents of Catonsville Commons (Genesis ElderCare). The activities range from crafts to games of BINGO.  Additionally, UEO members send cards to the residents quarterly as part of the C.H.E.E.R. initiative (Cards Helping to Encourage Eldercare Residents).

Black Barbie Doll Project
Through the Black Barbie Doll Project UEO collects black Barbie dolls to donate to Grace A.M.E. Church in Catonsville, MD.  Each year UEO donates over 100 black Barbie dolls to the church around the holidays. The dolls are placed in the holiday baskets of families in need.
We are accepting black Barbie doll donations throughout the year.  Feel free to bring new black Barbie doll's to any of our upcoming events.
